STK1 Series Stainless Steel Mixed Bed Deionizer (Ion Exchange Polisher Vessel)
STK1 Series Stainless Steel Mixed Bed Deionizer (Ion Exchange Polisher Vessel)
The STK1 Series Stainless Steel Mixed Bed is a high-performance ion exchange polisher designed to produce ultrapure water. By mixing Cation and Anion resins in a single stainless steel vessel, it effectively removes residual dissolved solids that RO systems cannot eliminates, achieving resistivity up to 18.2 MΩ·cm.
- Function: Final Polishing / Demineralization.
- Material: SUS304 / SUS316L (External).
- Protection: Internal Rubber Lining (Essential for acid/alkali regeneration).
- Output Quality: Ultra-low conductivity / High resistivity water.

Product Overview
The STK1 Mixed Bed Deionizer is the final purification stage in high-purity water treatment systems. It contains an intimate mixture of cation and anion exchange resins. As water flows through this mixture, it undergoes countless exchange cycles, acting like a series of multiple cation-anion beds, resulting in water of the highest purity.
Key Features & Engineering
- Superior Corrosion Resistance: The vessel shell is manufactured from premium Stainless Steel for external durability and aesthetics. Critically, the interior features a High-Grade Rubber Lining. This lining is mandatory to protect the steel from the harsh Hydrochloric Acid (HCl) and Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH) used during the resin regeneration process.
- Optimized Distribution: Features a specialized internal distribution system (spider or lateral type) to ensuring uniform water flow and efficient chemical distribution during regeneration.
- Sight Glasses: Equipped with dual sight glasses (view ports) on the tank body, allowing operators to visually monitor the resin separation and mixing status during the regeneration cycle.
- High Pressure Rating: Designed to operate safely at standard system pressures (0.6 MPa), with strictly tested welds.

Typical Applications
Mixed Bed Polishers are the standard solution for industries requiring ultra-low conductivity water:
- Semiconductor & Electronics: Production of ultra-pure water (UPW) for wafer cleaning and chip manufacturing.
- Power Generation: Boiler feed water polishing to prevent scaling and corrosion in high-pressure turbines.
- Pharmaceuticals: Final polishing for Water for Injection (WFI) and USP purified water loops.
- Laboratory & Research: Centralized Type I water systems.
