The STK Ozone Oxidation Tower (also known as a Reaction Tank or Contact Tower) serves as the core component in ozone water treatment systems. Its primary function is to mix ozone gas generated by an ozonator with water uniformly. The tower creates a pressurized environment where ozone micro-bubbles rise slowly against the water flow, ensuring complete mass transfer and reaction.

  • Optimized Aeration System: Equipped with premium Titanium Powder Sintered Aeration Heads (or Corundum inputs) at the bottom. These heads generate micro-bubbles (microns in size), drastically increasing the gas-liquid contact surface area compared to standard diffusers.
  • Extended Contact Time: The tower features a slim, tall design (Height up to 5100mm). This high aspect ratio prevents the "short-circuiting" of water flow and ensures sufficient reaction time for the ozone to kill bacteria and oxidize pollutants.
  • Corrosion Resistance: Ozone is a strong oxidant. Our towers are manufactured from high-grade 304 or 316L stainless steel, specifically welded and passivated to resist ozone corrosion and prevent leakage.
  • Safety & Venting: Designed with a top exhaust port to connect with an ozone destructor, ensuring safe discharge of undissolved gas.

Working Principle

Water enters from the top, while ozone gas is injected from the bottom aeration heads. This counter-current flow allows the rising bubbles to mix thoroughly with the downward-flowing water, achieving the highest possible dissolved ozone concentration.
