Product Description

The STARK 1500L Custom Stainless Steel Water Tank is a high-performance fluid containment solution engineered to adapt to diverse industrial and hygienic applications. This model is fully customizable in material, structure, surface treatment, and port configuration—offering unmatched flexibility for water treatment, food-grade storage, chemical buffering, and pharmaceutical processes.

Available in both SUS304 and SUS316L stainless steel, this tank is built using TIG orbital welding under argon shielding to ensure seamless, corrosion-resistant joints. All interior surfaces can be mirror polished to Ra ≤ 0.4μm to comply with GMP and FDA requirements. For clients with cost-sensitive projects, SUS304 offers excellent durability; for high-chloride or high-acid environments, SUS316L provides superior pitting and crevice corrosion resistance.

The tank supports a range of inlet/outlet types and sizes (DN15–DN80), including tri-clamp, threaded, flanged, or quick-connect. Optional components include top manholes, sanitary spray balls for CIP/SIP processes, pressure or level sensors, and vacuum breakers. Tanks can be built as non-pressurized vessels, or include insulation jackets and outer cladding (PU or rock wool) to maintain product temperature during storage or transfer.

This tank is widely used as a buffer tank before or after RO filtration, a pure water holding tank in softening systems, or as part of modular skid-mounted purification systems. Depending on client needs, it can also be equipped with:

  • Reinforced leg stands with adjustable feet or anchorable base rings
  • Jacketed sides for thermal exchange with glycol, steam, or chilled water
  • Mixing shafts or top-entry agitators (open or sealed design)
  • Integrated level sight glass, manometers, or digital PLC sensor kits

For engineering-driven installations, STARK provides full documentation support including:

  • 3D CAD/STEP drawings tailored to your system layout
  • Welding traceability & material test certificates
  • Pressure testing reports (up to 0.3MPa, if required)
  • CE/ISO compliance files and country-specific certifications (available on request)

Whether you need a hygienic tank for final product storage, a jacketed tank for temperature-sensitive liquids, or a transportable skid tank for modular use, STARK’s 1500L customizable stainless steel tank is your reliable partner for tailored fluid handling systems.

Applicable Industries

The STARK 1500L customizable stainless steel tank is engineered for advanced fluid storage and processing demands across multiple industries. From high-purity pharmaceutical water to food-grade mixing systems, this tank offers unmatched adaptability in design, fittings, and finish. Below are key sectors where STARK tanks are trusted:

  • Pharmaceutical & Biotech Manufacturing:
Ideal for storing purified water (PW) or water for injection (WFI), this tank integrates seamlessly into cleanroom environments and loop systems. Its mirror-polished SUS316L surfaces minimize endotoxin risk, while compatibility with CIP/SIP cleaning ensures GMP compliance. Custom ports support steam sterilization and automated dosing.
  • Food & Beverage Processing:
Used for process water, syrup base holding, or milk blending under HACCP standards. Optional insulation jackets maintain liquid temperature during batching. Stirring elements and sensor ports allow integration with pasteurization or fermenting processes. Flanged or tri-clamp ports simplify sanitary cleaning.
  • Water Treatment & RO Systems:
Serves as buffer tanks for permeate storage, post-treatment water holding, or clean storage in RO+EDI+UV systems. Level sensor ports and overflow nozzles can be added for automated skids. Stainless options prevent algae growth and contamination during intermittent operation.
  • Chemical & Laboratory Fluids:
Provides secure, non-reactive storage for acids, alkalis, or reaction agents. SUS316L is preferred for chloride resistance. Tanks may include PTFE-lined nozzles, pressure-rated manholes, or anti-corrosion spray balls. Material certificates and MSDS-compliant fabrication available.
  • Electronics & Semiconductor Fabrication:
Used in ultrapure water loops for rinsing and cleaning wafers or LCD panels. STARK tanks prevent metal ion leaching and can be configured with leak detection probes and pressure relief valves. Critical for environments requiring ionic and TOC stability.
  • Brewing, Fermentation & Distillation:
Supports ingredient storage or fermentation control for beer, wine, or bioethanol. Jackets allow temperature regulation, while agitation and anti-foam ports can be included. Food-safe welding and rounded edges minimize yeast build-up.
  • Cosmetics & Personal Care:
Suitable for mixing lotions, creams, and liquid bases in ISO/GMP-compliant facilities. Surface finish, heating jackets, and mixing paddles can be tailored for different viscosities. Level sensors help automate filling and batching stages.
  • Hospital & Dialysis Centers:
Used for storing RO-treated or deionized water used in medical equipment such as dialysis machines or sterilizers. Tanks must be easy to disinfect, with optional spray ball and sampling valve. Designs support frequent draining and microbial control.
