Beverage Factory Case — 10000L Horizontal Insulated Stainless Steel Buffer Tank

You are currently viewing Beverage Factory Case — 10000L Horizontal Insulated Stainless Steel Buffer Tank

Project Background

  • Site: beverage factory process area, chilled water buffer for filling line
  • Constraints: low ceiling under pipe racks, limited access for lifting, need for stable temperature during peak demand
  • Objectives: provide 10000 L buffer capacity, minimize overall height, improve thermal stability, and simplify cleaning and maintenance

Solution Overview

We delivered a 10000L horizontal stainless steel tank on dual saddle supports to keep the overall height low. The tank is insulated with PU and finished with a stainless jacket for durability and easy washing. Nozzles are positioned for a true lowest-point outlet to speed drain-down. The tank includes CIP-ready ports, a side manway for inspection, and flanged tie-ins for quick connection to the existing line.

Implementation and Timeline

  • Layout review with clear height and access checks
  • GA drawing and nozzle schedule approval
  • Fabrication, insulation, jacket assembly
  • Factory tests and documentation pack
  • Delivery and installation under existing pipe racks
  • SAT checks and operator briefing

Cleaning and Maintenance

  • CIP-ready with fixed or rotating spray heads
  • Lowest-point outlet and internal slope reduce liquid hold-up
  • Stainless jacket allows exterior washing without insulation damage

Outcome

  • After commissioning, operators observed more stable chilled water supply during peak filling and faster drain-down during cleaning.
  • The low-height layout cleared existing pipe racks without structural changes.
  • Maintenance access around the side manway and instruments remained unobstructed.
(Observations are based on plant trend data and operator feedback; actual results vary with load profile and site conditions.)
