5. Operational Sequence & Working Principle

The STK-N04-1.0 utilizes a smart differential pressure (DP) monitoring system to trigger self-cleaning without interrupting the main water flow.

Filtration Phase

Raw water enters through the DN100 inlet and passes through the permanent SS316 Screen. Impurities are trapped on the screen surface, while clean water flows to the outlet.

Self-Cleaning Phase

When the differential pressure reaches the preset value, the Siemens PLC initiates the cleaning cycle:

  1. The Covna Drain Valve opens.
  2. The SEW Motor rotates the cleaning device (SS316 shaft and brushes).
  3. Impurities are scrubbed off the screen and flushed out through the drain.

Note: The system continues to supply filtered water during the cleaning cycle.
